A few nights ago, I tried the buffet! May I just say how I loved the ‘hummus pastrami‘. If it wasn’t for Chef Ajay (the executive chef at Park Inn) directing me to the spread of other dishes, I would have just settled for the hummus! (don’t forget to water it down with some olive oil – okay, now i’m hungry)

Like last year, the spread consists of a selection of ‘mezze’ (salads), soups, mains, kebabs (live grill) a fruit platter and desserts. Some ingredients have been flown in from Turkey courtesy Turkish Airlines! (the amazing Turkish delight and the ‘pastrami’ for instance)

The Turkish Delight was simply outstanding! I may have even smuggled some home *wink*wink*

Chef Ajay and the team of Chefs from Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Istanbul, Tuzla will not disappoint you. I will happily go back just for the lamb kebabs, the ‘manti‘ (OMG!), the hummus pastrami AND the Turkish delight.

The roof top lounge offers an amazing view of the city, the ambience is great (the amazing weather is an added bonus) and they serve spirited beverages too – sold separately.

The Turkish food festival is organized by Park Inn Hotel Muscat in collaboration with Turkish Airlines and Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Istanbul, Tuzla Turkey.
